Job Description:
PETADATA is looking for a Snowflake Developer with Power BI who will report to the Enterprise.
Data Services team to build and maintain the Snowflake SaaS service for building advanced data solutions throughout the One-man organization. We need hands-on experience in the DBA role using the Snowflake platform.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Should be able to develop, build & maintain mission-critical centralized data platforms using Snowflake.
You should be able to identify & perform the core administration for the snowflake environment.
Able to build the automation to optimize the environment, build pipelines to define metrics-related things in snowflake, and be the key central point of contact for a Snowflake within the organization.
Should be able to diagnose and troubleshoot Snowflake database errors.
You must have worked with multiple internal user groups include analytics and data science.
You can implement the Snowflake user /query log analysis and alerts.
Work with heterogeneous user groups from data engineers to data scientists.
Must be able to implement data encryption/decryption/masking policies to protect PII/PCI data
To demonstrate proficiency in index design, query plan optimization, and analysis require
The security audits for the user implement/support automation for production deployment in the Snowflake platform.
Should actively work with Snowflake support for raising support tickets and triaging outages.
Able to create a Snowflake utilization and capacity plan.
Must take On-call responsibilities on a rotational basis for Snowflake database administration.
Required Skills
Experience on Database like SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL, XML.
Should have worked on Data warehousing concepts, data modelling, metadata management
Experience on Migration to AWS or Azure Snowflake platform
Must have Performance tuning and setting up resource monitors
You should have worked on ETL tools with cloud-driven skills
Have Ability to build analytical solutions and models
Should understand Coding languages like Python, Java, JavaScript
Experience on Root cause analysis of models with solutions
Hands on experience on Hadoop, Spark, and other warehousing tools
Must be able to Manage sets of XML, JSON, and CSV from disparate sources
Need to have knowledge on conversion of Data ingestion into Snowflake
Must have strong experience in Power BI
Have knowledge on OBIEE is added advantage
Should have an Enterprise-level technical exposure to Snowflake applications
