Social Media Coordinator Apply
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create/curate posts for social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Monitor owned social media accounts
- Develop social media strategy to achieve CNSP communications objectives
- Provide training to ships on social media use and OPSEC and online conduct and the UCMJ
- Forecast events and upcoming campaigns that require graphics/videos to support and request their creation
- Create occasional basic graphics and videos
- Take photos and video of ship's arriving/departing San Diego for use on social media pages and in printed products
- Engage with relevant influencers/followers
- Provide social media analytic reports and insights to stakeholders for monthly reporting
- Brief Prospective Commanding Officers/Prospective Executive Officers on social media best practices and Navy-wide policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Brief Collateral Duty Public Affairs Officers from the fleet's ships on social media
- Monitor fleet's ships’ social media pages to ensure compliance to social media protocol
- Curate content for the web team to post regarding ships and other fleet activities
- Process and release official Navy photos to DVIDS
Qualifications:
- Strong editing and proofreading skills with impeccable attention to detail
- Experience managing social media accounts for a large organization
- Experience with photography/videographer production/post-production techniques
- Active SECRET clearance
