Pay: $28.00 - $55.00 per hour
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Behavioral Health team. The Therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments, assist with admissions, coordinate treatment planning, and provide referrals to appropriate outpatient or inpatient programs. This role is vital in supporting individuals with psychiatric, behavioral health, and substance use challenges, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for patients experiencing mental illness, behavioral disturbances, or substance abuse issues.
  • Assist law enforcement, family members, and others in the admission process, including voluntary and emergency detentions.
  • Make referrals to community resources and coordinate appropriate outpatient or inpatient treatment programs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, resources, and community support services.
  • Ensure compliance with Massachusetts psychiatric laws and organizational policies.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and community relations programs.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • License: Active Massachusetts LICSW or LCSW
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of psychiatric/behavioral health experience
  • Experience with adolescent and adult patient populations Required.
  • Inpatient psychiatric experience
  • Strong understanding of Massachusetts law regarding psychiatric care
  • Certifications: Current BLS certification
