Project Description:Automotive Project domain lays in the area of Advanced Driver Assist Systems which is a step towards an Autonomous Drive future.Our product represents a Fusion System which collects data from multiple sources such as Ultrasonic Sensors, Analogue and Digital Cameras and executes a complex math logic , as known as Computer Vision Algorithms, targeted to detect specific objects , project trajectories and help driver and passengers to stay safe in any unexpected road situation.Project team works with current and next generation systems, best Hardware and Tooling present in industry, to enhance user experience and guarantee maximum safety to our customers. Customer office located in Queretaro, Mexico and all jobs are 100% onsite.Responsibilities:• Defines the software test strategy based on the product, for black-box / white-box testing.• Specifies the Software test cases based on the Software requirements covering all the boundary, equivalence and negative test cases• Aligns test specifications with Function Owners and System Architects to ensure technical accuracy.• Executes manual and automated test campaigns on HIL/Bench setups, according to the release plan.• Performs root cause analysis and integration testing using debugging tools and automotive analyzers.• Reports defects in Ticket Management Tool with detailed evidence and verifies fixes.• Develops and maintains automated test scripts using Python and CAPL.• Integrates test scripts into Continuous Integration pipelines for nightly regression testing.• Prepares and publishes Software Test Reports after each validation cycle.• Participates in peer reviews of Test Plans and Specifications ensuring ASPICE/ISO compliance.• Escalates blocking issues or risks to the Test Lead with proposed mitigation plans.• Actively participate and accomplish in his or her role in all internal and external requirements related to Quality, Safety, Environmental, Customer, Governmental, and Social Responsibility management systems applicable to the activities of the position. The aforementioned activities are not limited and may be extended transversally to other functions as required by the organization.Mandatory Skills Description:• Min 2+ years of experience in Embedded Software Validation (Automotive preferred).• Strong knowledge of Automotive Communication Protocols: CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet.• Hands-on experience with Vector Tools (CANoe, CANalyzer), Wireshark, PXI/VT System platforms, and HIL/bench setups.• Proficiency in Linux/QNX environments (command line, log analysis).• Programming experience in Python and CAPL for automation and simulation.• Experience with UDS Diagnostics (ISO 14229) – Reading DTCs, DIDs, flashing SW.• Experience in white-box testing, integration, and root cause analysis using debuggers such as TRACE32 and iSystem.• Designs and executes black-box test campaigns covering nominal, boundary, robustness, and negative scenarios.• Familiarity with Requirement Management tools (DOORS, Polarion) and Ticket Management Tools.• Knowledge of Version Control Systems (Git/Bitbucket).• Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Nice-to-Have Skills Description:• Experience with Audio/Video testing (A2B, GMSL), Cyber Security testing (Fuzzing, SecOC), and test automation using LabVIEW/TestStand is a plus.• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus.Languages:English: B2 upper intermediate
