The Engineering Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a top materials science organization near Saint Paul, MN area that has an opening for a Software Controls Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial inkjet printers and production line equipment
• Handle customer support calls
• Work on software and PLC firmware bugs

Requirements

• Associate’s degree required
• 5+ years’ experience with hardware & programming
• Strong mechanical skills
• 3+ years’ experience with C#, .NET, PLC and HMI programming

Additional Notes:

• Travel required to customer sites (8-12 weeks/year across the US)
• Hybrid position
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm CST
• 1 year contract with potential for extension
• Hourly pay rate range approved $54-61.50/hr depending on experience

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
