We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Dearborn, Michigan. This role focuses on backend development, database management, and API integration to support robust web applications. The ideal candidate will bring over five years of expertise in backend development and demonstrate proficiency in PHP, MySQL, API creation, and related technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems for web applications, ensuring optimal functionality and scalability.

• Design, manage, and optimize databases using MySQL or similar technologies.

• Create and implement APIs to enable seamless communication across application components.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to deliver superior user experiences.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, security, and reliability.

• Work with containerization tools such as Docker to streamline application deployment.

• Utilize Azure Hosting services to manage and deploy web applications.

• Apply Agile Scrum methodologies to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.

• Integrate third-party tools and frameworks to enhance application functionality.

• At least five years of experience in backend web development.

• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and database design.

• Strong skills in API development and integration.

• Familiarity with backend development frameworks such as Laravel.

• Experience with Docker for containerization and deployment.

• Knowledge of Azure Hosting services and cloud-based infrastructures.

• Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
