Part-Time Software Developer – Metro Detroit (Onsite | $40–$50/hr)
Location: Metro Detroit | Schedule: 2 Days Onsite Weekly | Pay: $40–$50 per hour

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Part-Time Software Developer to support two exciting development projects while enjoying a flexible, part-time schedule in Metro Detroit.
What You'll Work On
- Legacy System Modernization: Update and maintain our internal SQL Server 2008 database and .NET-based applications.
- Mobile App Alignment: Enhance our existing Android app (Java) to mirror the design and functionality of our iOS app (SwiftUI).
This is an excellent opportunity for developers with strong technical foundations who want to refine their skills in a collaborative environment with onsite access to hardware and internal teams.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills:
- Experience working with legacy systems
- Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Access proficiency
- C# and VB.NET development experience
- Git or similar repository version control
- General computer hardware knowledge
- Mobile app development experience (Android/iOS)
Bonus Skills:
- Familiarity with queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ)
- NuGet package management or creation
- SSRS or Crystal Reports
- HTML/CSS and UI design principles
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and MS Office skills
