Software Developer II

Job Type Full-time Description Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Software Developer II . Reporting to the Business Applications Supervisor, this role will be responsible for developing and maintaining Q-Lab's web, database, and client/server business applications as well as designing and implementing front-end user interfaces using Microsoft Visual Studio technologies, including WinForms, ASP.NET, VB .NET, and C#, among other duties. This position is hybrid/onsite in Westlake, OH. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Q-Lab's web, database, and client/server business applications. Design and implement front-end user interfaces using Microsoft Visual Studio technologies, including WinForms, ASP.NET, VB .NET, and C#. Design, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and business logic. Leverage Q-Lab's AI capabilities to automate coding and implementation. Follow Q-Lab's established software development standards, coding practices, and technical methodologies. Support and enhance software systems across multiple business areas, including Sales, Repair, Marketing, Accounting, Purchasing, Order Desk, and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define workflows, and translate operational needs into technical solutions. Produce business requirements documents, technical specifications, and software design documentation. Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing software applications and database systems. Participate in software architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills: 3-5+ years of professional work experience. Evidence of achievement developing software solutions. Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and .NET (Winforms and ASP .NET) Specialized internal database experience.
