Software Developer - Onsite Position Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Developer - Onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of a growing DevEx (Developer Experience) department within the Global Technology division, which is responsible for improving the experience for developers, advancing technology platforms, and reducing risk across the technology portfolio. This role is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals, ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Responsibilities: Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements Participate and guide the team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in the design and development of requirements Assist the team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality Participate in and contribute to delivery/release (CI/CD) events, including branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, and merge/conflict resolution Requirements: Experience with Spring Boot Demonstrated ability to design and develop significant components within an application and perform code reviews Proficient in designing, developing, and executing test cases, with knowledge of Test Automation and tools Ability to perform or support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) activities with an understanding of DevOps culture Understanding of application and data architecture standards Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
