Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and servicesLead architectural decisions and technical planning across the stackBuild and enhance user interfaces using ReactDevelop backend services and APIs using Python or GoDesign and optimize relational database schemas using PostgreSQLLeverage AWS infrastructure and services to ensure scalability, security, and performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams in agile development processesMentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellenceOwn features end-to-end, from ideation to deployment and monitoringRequirements:Education and Experience:5+ years of professional software development experience.Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer contributing to complex projects.Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Technical Expertise:Strong experience building user interfaces with ReactProficiency in Python or Go for backend development (ideally both)Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway)Solid understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQLExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation) is a plusKnowledge of software security best practices (OWASP Top 10, secure coding).Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable codeExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAbout Throtle: Throtle is a leading identity company trusted by the world’s top brands and agencies located in Red Bank, NJ.
