What You'll Do:

As a Senior Engineer, you'll play a key role in building the next generation of our platform. You'll have the opportunity to influence architecture, guide technical decisions, and deliver high-impact features that make youth sports more connected and accessible.

Feature Development

  • Develop and enhance core platform features across web and mobile.
  • Support and scale payment experiences within our fintech workflows.
  • Improve apps, websites, and student-athlete profile systems.
  • Build tools that support facility management, communications, and officiating workflows.
  • Work closely with product and design teams to translate ideas into seamless user experiences.

Infrastructure & DevOps

  • Support and scale AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
  • Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for streamlined releases.
  • Enhance automation and developer tooling to improve engineering velocity and reliability.

Performance, Security & Reliability

  • Monitor and improve application and database performance.
  • Implement effective logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
  • Ensure systems align with security standards, including SOC-2 best practices.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with product, QA, and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in planning, estimation, and code reviews.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Evaluate third-party technologies and integrations to support platform growth.

What We're Looking For:

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Proven experience developing and scaling modern web and/or mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Focus on performance, reliability, and secure development practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to work on meaningful technology that directly impacts young athletes, families, schools, and communities. You'll join a team that believes in ownership, creativity, and continuous improvement.

  • Here's what sets this opportunity apart:
  • You will shape foundational systems during a critical growth phase.
  • Your ideas will influence real product direction, not just code.
  • You'll build technology that solves real operational challenges in youth and high school sports.
  • You'll work in a culture that values craftsmanship, learning, and autonomy-not unnecessary process.
  • You'll be part of a driven, collaborative team where everyone contributes to strategy and execution.
  • You'll help create something lasting, impactful, and widely used across communities.
