Summary:

• Designs, develops, documents, and implements Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms and models using standard methods and tools, while considering ethical implications and potential biases.

• Utilizes AI tools to evaluate effectiveness in code generation and avionics applications. Collects, cleans, and analyzes large datasets to ensure data quality, identify patterns, and extract insights.

• Tests, documents, and debugs AI models and software systems.

• Trains, evaluates, and optimizes AI model performance.

• Conducts Safety Risk Management processes in accordance with organizational standards. Integrates and deploys scalable AI models into production environments, monitoring and improving performance post-deployment.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, gather feedback, and iterate models and algorithms.

• Researches and applies emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and regulations to advance AI design practices.

Requirements (Level 3):

• Bachelor's degree and typically 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience.

• Willingness to leverage AI tools and technologies to accelerate software development and testing.

• Experience with C, C++, Python, or other modern programming languages.

• Familiarity with ADA or avionics software is a plus.

• Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch preferred.

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

• Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

• Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA.

• No relocation offered.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education or experience in AI algorithms and/or AI tools.

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if sponsored.
