We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software across the full lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Review and translate customer requirements into software designs.

  • Develop, document, and optimize architectures, algorithms, and interfaces for system integration. Debug and resolve issues to enhance reliability and performance.

  • Support users, troubleshoot technical issues, and analyze feedback.

  • Implement emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks while ensuring alignment with software processes and organizational goals.

  • Execute R&D projects, manage software suppliers, and track performance to maintain compliance with project plans and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and typically 3+ years of experience in software engineering, or Master's degree with 1 year of experience.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

  • Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education or experience with modern HIL techniques and/or AI tools.

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if sponsored.
