\nThe Boeing Company is seeking an Application Software Engineer (Associate or Experienced) to join the Phantom Works Weapons team in St. Charles, MO (St. Louis Area). This team supports future weapons programs, including the Next Generation Cruise Missile program. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-impact work where interdisciplinary collaboration, systems thinking, and technical creativity come together to shape next-generation capabilities. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access.

Position Responsibilities:

Designs, develops, tests, and maintains embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.

Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products.
\n - \n
Develops interface definitions
\n - \n
Performs unit and integration testing
\n - \n
Participates in peer reviews
\n - \n
Supports software system integration and test
\n - \n
Create software documentation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree

Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship

1+ years of experience in C++, Python, and C#
\n - \n
1+ years of experience with Linux development
\n - \n
1+ years of experience git or similar version control system
\n - \n
1+ years of experience in software architecture development and open architectures
\n - \n
1+ years with network architectures and software application that communicate through TCP/UDP based networks

Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Knowledge of host environments, including processors, operating systems and networks. Ability to build, integrate and troubleshoot software components.

Knowledge of software architecture and design methodologies. Ability to synthesize software architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics and constraints.

Knowledge of software development processes in compliance with established internal and industry standards, guidelines, and best practices in the development, testing, and deployment of software.

Knowledge of general and software development and testing tools, capability and usage. Examples include compilers, linkers, debuggers, data analysis tools, graphical user interface builders, post processing tools, requirements management tools, and web authoring tools.

Knowledge of domains, characteristics, constraints and products that require software and influence architecture, requirements, interfaces, designs, and integration/test approaches. Domain examples include data processing, ground support, tools and analysis models. Examples of characteristics and constraints that impact software include operating systems, fidelity and information processing capacity. Examples of products include aircraft, missiles, airborne/shipboard/space systems/ground-based support systems.

Summary Pay Range for Associate Level: $99,450 - $134,550
\nSummary Pay Range for Experienced Level: $126,650 -$171,350
\nPotential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates.
