Software Engineer III Apply
Knowledge Services is looking for a passionate Software Engineer III to write clean code and contribute towards the development of creative solutions using modern DevOps and Agile processes and tools. This is a hands-on role focused on the design and development of high-quality and innovative software that complies with industry best practices and secure coding guidelines. Our ideal candidate will help generate innovative ideas and provide process improvement suggestions, as well as collaborate closely with other developers on the team through Agile engineering practices like pair programming. You'll join a team that is passionate about transforming our product and will help guide the direction of our application stack.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and unit test ASP.NET Core web applications backed by SQL Server.
- Design, develop, and unit test Angular web applications.
- Produce clean code that adheres to industry best practices and standards as well as internal development standards.
- Collaborate across teams to develop solutions that leverage patterns of enterprise architecture.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to create high quality software solutions.
- Perform design and code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance, and application responsiveness.
- Generate innovative ideas and provide process improvement suggestions.
- Assist in evaluating and recommending technical solutions.
- Be a team player, laugh and have fun, and always strive to get better.
Qualifications
10+ years of development using C# (or VB.NET), JavaScript, and Transact-SQL. 10+ years of experience developing web applications. 6+ years of Agile development experience. Proficient with designing and developing Angular web applications. Deep understanding of enterprise application architecture patterns. Proficient with software design patterns. Proficient with object-oriented design principles (SOLID). Proficient with developing Transact-SQL programmable objects. Proficient with database modeling and normalization. Competent in cloud technology. Competent with ORMs (Object Relationship Mapper). Competent with Azure DevOps. Strong verbal and written communication skills especially when eliciting requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good-to-have qualifications: Competent in Azure PaaS offerings and detailed work experience with Azure. Experience with containerization and infrastructure as code.
