Name of Employer: MoneyGram International, Inc.Position Title: Software Engineer IVPosition Location: 100% remote reporting to: 2828 North Harwood St., Ste. 1500, Dallas, TX 75201Summary of Duties: Develop and implement Java Services based on Microservices architecture for various compliance projects to ensure systems meet regulatory demands. Use microservices architecture for compliance projects and provide IT development support and analysis for compliance rules and Java Service components deployed in lower environments. Develop and implement compliance rules using Complex Event Processing (CEP) and IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM). Analyze and design rules based on relevant requirements and work closely with Business Compliance Rules Team in implementing and validating deployed rules. Utilize technical expertise in Rules System interface Analysis and Development, Rule Management tools, BRMS-IBM, ODM, and CEP to design and develop complex compliance business rules. Use following tools and technologies: Splunk, Putty, Winscp, SQL, Java, BRMS-IBM, and CEP. Provide technical expertise and technical mentoring to other software engineers as needed to build and maintain microservices, CEP and ODM functions. Perform detailed analysis and complex problem solving to identify function and technical defects and to recommend design and development improvements needed to enhance systems performance and accuracy. Assess, recommend, and develop solutions that improve software and system quality.QualificationsQualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study and 7 years of progressive experience in Software Engineering. Employer will accept a Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study and 2 years of experience in Software Engineering in lieu of a Bachelors degree or equivalent and 7 years of progressive experience. Employer will accept pre- or post-Masters degree experience. All experience must be post-Bachelors.Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:1) Rules System interface Analysis and Development;2) Rule Management tools: ODM, CEP or related;3) Java: Core Java development, microservice architecture, open source frameworks, commercial Java frameworks, and secure coding within OWASP framework; and4) Other tools and technology: Splunk, Putty, WinSCP, SQL, BRMS-IBM, GitLab/DevOps, and AWS Cloud architectures and tools.Anticipated Base Pay: $139,464 - $193,400/yearDay 1 Benefits to include: Customizable health plan-PPO/High Deductible Plan with Employer HSA Contribution; 20 Days of Accrued PTO; 13 Paid Holidays; 2 Community Service Days; 401k with Employer Match; Parental Leave; Employee Assistance Program; Tuition Reimbursement; Money Transfer Reimbursement; Pet Insurance optionsThe salary/pay rate listed is a good faith determination that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement based on company hiring process and budget for this role and may be modified in the future.
