Our client seeks a Software Engineer – Specialist to design, develop, and implement software solutions that support business processes and improve the guest experience. The role collaborates with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, develop applications across web and mobile, and deliver effective outcomes. The position includes participation across the software development lifecycle, a focus on accessibility and quality, and contributions to documentation and basic DevOps practices. This is a full‑time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. In addition to an excellent benefits package, this role includes a generous incentive bonus based on business results and individual performance. Responsibilities Participate in the full software development lifecycle including planning, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues. Participate in code reviews to improve practices and quality. Collaborate to design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications. Partner with design and QA to implement accessibility best practices including screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, and high-contrast interfaces. Develop and maintain technical documentation including user manuals and technical guides. Support basic DevOps tasks such as deployment pipelines, environment configuration, and application monitoring. Pursue ongoing professional development through training, reading, conferences, and professional organizations. Experience Requirements 2-4 years of experience in software engineering. Proficiency in one or more: C#, React, Node.js, SQL, Python. Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server. Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of testing methodologies including unit, integration, and automated testing frameworks. Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality software delivery. Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Knowledge of software design principles and architectural patterns. Preferred: React Native and mobile development for iOS and Android. Preferred: Microsoft Azure Cloud services. Preferred: Experience with NoSQL databases. Preferred: Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure‑as‑code tools. Preferred: Experience using APIs from leading LLM providers and integrating LLMs into applications. Preferred: Proficiency in implementing accessible user interfaces with semantic HTML.
