We are seeking a Software Engineer Supervisor to spearhead engineering initiatives.
This is a full-time direct hire opportunity where you will earn up to $150,000, based on your experience. You will work Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. This position is 100% on-site.
To qualify for the Software Engineer Supervisor position, we require:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ experience in software engineering
- 2 years’ experience in leadership/management
- Proven experience in designing and delivering scalable software solutions
- Experience using modern development frameworks such as React, Angular or Vu.js
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience resolving complex technical challenges
- Cloud technologies experience a plus
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce or similar
- Experience developing software that adheres to PCI, SOC, GDPR or similar
- Ability to balance team lead responsibilities with hands-on development
- Deep knowledge and expertise in programming languages such as C# or Java
- Experience with ColdFusion a plus
- Proficiency with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling
- Familiarity with MSBuild, AWS CodeArtifacts or similar DevOps technologies
- Familiarity with local network and cloud-based security standards
- Willingness and ability to lead by example
- A growth mindset
- Excellent communication skills
Some of your responsibilities as Software Engineer Supervisor will include leading a team of software engineers. In addition:
- Mentoring a team of software engineers
- Promoting technical excellence
- Driving the development of innovative software solutions
- Fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Maintaining engineering standards, processes and methodologies
- Ensuring high-quality code and effective software development practices
- Managing project budgets and timelines
- Contributing directly to the team’s productivity with hands-on development
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives and more
