Our client, a global industrial engineering and automation solutions leader , is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Project Lead to join their team. As a Senior Software Engineer / Project Lead , you will be part of the Software Engineering & Automation Department supporting internal development teams and customerfacing project teams . The ideal candidate will have strong technical leadership , excellent communication skills , and the ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams , which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Location: 46912 Liberty Dr., Wixom, MI 48393 Pay Range: Open to discussion What's the Job? Analyze user requirements and technical specifications to design and architect software solutions. Develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET, C#, VB, ASP.NET, HTML, Java, SQL Server, and Python. Review and optimize existing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Lead software project execution from concept to delivery, including planning, scheduling, and risk management. Collaborate with crossfunctional engineering teams and travel to customer sites as needed. What's Needed? 7+ years of handson software development experience in .NET/C#/SQL and webbased applications. Demonstrated project leadership experience and ability to manage technical execution. Strong communication skills and ability to engage directly with customers in a professional manner. Experience with APIs, WinForms, UI development, and data structures; mobile development a plus. Preferred experience with SCADA platforms such as Ignition or similar industrial software systems.
