This is a true player/coach role: you’ll split your time between hands-on engineering and leading the team (depending on delivery needs).What you’ll doLead a team of engineers with clear priorities and predictable deliveryOwn end-to-end delivery: planning, estimation, backlog hygiene and release execution (Azure DevOps)Set technical direction and standards across .NET/C#, Angular, SQL ServerStay hands-on when needed: design, code, pair, review PRs, unblock the teamDrive quality, reliability and security: testing approach, incident response, post-incident improvementsHire, onboard and develop engineers (including onshore/offshore collaboration)What we need from you8+ years building and shipping softwareStrong .NET/C# (ASP.NET) + API-first backend experienceWorking knowledge of Angular (Node.js a plus)Solid SQL Server and transactional systems experienceProven people leadership: 1:1s, coaching, performance reviews, team cultureStrong Agile delivery skills and stakeholder communicationExperience with Git, CI/CD, and Azure/Azure DevOpsComfortable adopting AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot/Claude) with sensible guardrailsA unique opportunity to join an exciting company with ambitious plans for the future.
