Software Integration Engineer Apply
Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to provide on-site support to DevOps through developing and testing software tools using open-source software within a containerized environment.

Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience Installing, testing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS.
- 2-5 years of experience working with a Linux OS (Red Hat preferred).
- Basic Linux system administration skills.
- Strong shell scripting experience for solving bespoke integration challenges/creating test scripts.
- General technical knowledge of compute, network, memory, and storage system components.
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools.
- Knowledge and experience troubleshooting Linux Clusters.
- Experience using system monitoring tools.
- Experience with containerization technologies.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and switch between various architectural paradigms.
- Must be a United States citizen.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a DoD-Issued Secret security clearance.
- Must have the ability to work on-site In Lexington Park, Maryland USA (NAS- Pax River).
Preferred Experience:
- Understanding and experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite.
- Experience using GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to execute test codes for characterization of software performance.
- Provide software product ownership for HPC tools.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of CM tools, web documentation, and issue tracking.
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field of study.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 annually.
