Software Test & Integration Engineer Apply
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Software Testing Engineer to join a cutting-edge engineering team focused on the integration and validation of advanced simulation and experimentation systems.This role performs end-to-end software testing and validation activities across the full product lifecycle and reports to the ISV Team Lead.Key Responsibilities:Plan and develop comprehensive software test strategies, plans, and specifications based on customer requirementsUnderstand system design and architecture, including defining software test bed requirementsConduct progressive software testing throughout development cyclesLead technical investigations into defects and emergent system behavioursSupport integration, trials, and demonstrations with partners and customersPerform log and data analysis to identify issues and validate system performanceExecute formal software qualification and verification testingProvide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress and system functionalityProduce detailed test reports to support delivery and certificationSupport software release processes and final verification activitiesThe ideal candidate would have:Understanding of complex systems and multi-level software architecturesFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum development environmentsExperience with software simulation or emulator environmentsExposure to tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, JIRA, IBM DOORS or similar ALM/PLM toolsKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing approachesExperience using Excel, including basic macrosThe ideal candidate must have:Strong experience in software testing and/or systems proving across the development lifecycleKnowledge of verification and validation (V&V) processesPython scripting experienceExperience in analysing software logs and dataISTQB certification (or equivalent in software testing)This position offers a lucrative benefits package, which includes but is not inclusive of:Bonus scheme (based on company performance)Annual pay reviews and promotion reviews (based on personal performance)Overtime paid at an enhanced rateFlexi-Leave (of up to 15 days)Pension scheme (total contribution of up to 14%)Subsidised site facilities and restaurantsFree parkingExcellent career progression and training / career development opportunitiesIf this role looks like your next challenge, please contact Keelan ASAP or apply via this advert!Please note that due to the nature of the client’s business, only candidates who currently hold full British Citizenship (without limitations) / Dual Nationality (inclusive of British Citizenship) will be considered.We endeavour to reply to every candidate, every time but if you haven’t heard back within 10 days, please understand that you have unfortunately been unsuccessful for this position, or the position has been filled.
