Position: Software Test Analyst 5 – Sr. QA Analyst

Location: Dimondale, MI (Hybrid – Onsite Tue/Wed)

Duration: 12 Months (with possible extension)

Interview: 45-minute Virtual (MS Teams – Video Required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and development teams throughout requirements, development, and testing phases
• Design and execute test scenarios based on acceptance criteria
• Perform system, functional, and integration testing
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure complete test coverage
• Prepare and maintain test scripts, reports, and documentation
• Track defects, manage re-testing, and ensure resolution
• Participate in requirement validation, prioritization, and test planning sessions
• Ensure structured and prioritized test execution aligned with business needs
• Provide regular updates, reports, and QA status to stakeholders
• Support test team activities and assist in issue/risk management

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in QA requirements analysis and test planning
• 5+ years of QA execution and defect tracking
• Experience with QA tools such as Rational, HP ALM, or similar
• Strong backend functional testing experience
• Ability to enhance and adapt test plans for better coverage
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Financials
• Experience with GenTax
• Familiarity with Oxygen XML Editor
