Job DescriptionThe tester is responsible for the functional and technical testing of software (products), web applications, and/or microservices, ensuring that they do not contain errors and that the user experience of the final product is as good as possible. The tester also evaluates where it is useful to automate certain processes.The tester works in an Agile environment and is part of a self-managing team focused on continuously optimizing and delivering better applications.Your role is to support the team by performing functional and technical testing of the user stories developed during the sprint.In this way, you help prevent errors and ensure the best possible experience for the end user. You also assist in filtering issues registered from other sources, reducing the workload of other team members and improving the quality of logged issues.TASKSManual testingAutomated testingCOMPETENCIESAs a tester, you are responsible for developing test cases based on the provided stories, in collaboration with the team and across different technologies and projects.You will:Write test casesExecute test casesMonitor the continuity and stability of the final productsReport detected errors and follow up on themPrepare test data where necessaryManage and monitor available test dataTechnical context: Jira, SharePoint, LambdaTest, Office 365, SQL databases, etc. Knowledge of these tools is required.You will also:Develop automated test cases for new applications and microservicesUpdate automated test cases when existing applications are modifiedBe able to set up and configure Cypress tests and Newman/Postman tests within a CI/CD pipelineTechnical context: Cucumber, Java, Selenium, Cypress, Newman/Postman.
