Position Summary
United Talent is immediately hiring a Solid Surface Fabrication Associate for a millwork manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for fabricating and finishing acrylic solid surface materials into high-quality products such as countertops, vanities, and custom components. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Job Duties
- Fabricate solid surface products by cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing materials.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and measurements to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Operate fabrication tools and equipment such as saws, routers, grinders, and sanders.
- Finish and polish solid surface materials to required quality standards.
- Inspect completed products to ensure they meet specifications and quality expectations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all safety guidelines.
Pay & Shift
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- $16.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience (BOE)
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous solid surface fabrication experience using acrylic materials required.
- Ability to read a tape measure and interpret shop drawings.
- Experience using power tools and fabrication equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Exposure to noise levels consistent with a millwork manufacturing environment.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
- Position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
