Join a growing, innovative company in Big Lake, MN as a Solution Consultant. In this hybrid role (after on-site training), you will become a trusted industry expert, supporting both pre-sales and post-sales activities for custom fireplace solutions. As a key member of the team, you will provide technical expertise, deliver engaging training, and help drive customer satisfaction by guiding clients through the design process. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment, working closely with sales, engineering, and customers to deliver high-quality, customized solutions. Responsibilities Serve as an industry expert by conducting AIA presentations, maintaining relevant certifications, and creating insightful content on industry trends. Provide first-line (Tier 1) engineering support for EFP requests, addressing technical inquiries from customers and internal teams. Participate in sales calls to offer technical input and support the sales team throughout the sales process. Collaborate with the Sales Coordinator to assist in the production of custom quotes, ensuring accuracy and margin consistency. Lead on-site installer training sessions and act as the primary point of contact during training engagements. Develop and maintain process documentation to support operational efficiency and quality standards. Design and deliver product training for internal staff, including both live and recorded sessions. Guide customers through initial design calls, using a mix of live meetings and prerecorded content to capture requirements effectively. Qualifications Strong knowledge of the fireplace and custom heating industry (highly preferred). Experience providing pre-sales technical support and understanding complex technical details. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Proven ability to develop and present training sessions to both internal and external audiences. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Willingness to travel for on-site project reviews and installer training. Industry certifications in fireplace installation or related fields (preferred). Experience with custom quote generation and pricing strategies (preferred). Familiarity with video production for training or promotional content (preferred). Previous experience in a technical consulting or sales engineering role (preferred).
