Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Solutions & Delivery Engineer to bridge the gap between sales and customer success. In this role, you will demonstrate our SaaS solutions to manufacturers and distributors, gather and analyze client requirements, design solutions, and oversee the implementation process. Your goal is to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and seamless integration. You'll excel in a rapidly changing environment by applying your problem-solving skills, continuous learning, and proactive communication. With exceptional organizational and time management abilities, you'll ensure that every aspect of the customer lifecycle is executed with precision. This role will require creativity, collaboration, and adaptability as you wear multiple hats and make an impact from day one.

As a Solutions & Delivery Engineer, you will report to the VP of Sales Engineering & Delivery. Your expertise in supply chain, APIs, and ERP systems will enable you to offer customized solutions while nurturing long-term client relationships through proactive meetings and responsive support. You will serve as the key liaison between clients and internal teams, managing the entire customer lifecycle from initial discovery to post-implementation support. Your insights will be instrumental to the leadership team as we continue to innovate and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present SaaS products to prospective clients, demonstrating features and benefits tailored to their business needs.
  • Support Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to help close deals.
  • Collaborate with prospects to gather detailed requirements and design solutions that meet their unique business objectives.
  • Develop tailored implementation plans that include timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Lead the implementation process by ensuring successful kickoffs, aligning with customer goals, and ensuring smooth system integration.
  • Configure the software according to client specifications, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including software developers and QA analysts, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct regular status meetings with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and collect feedback.
  • Oversee customer onboarding and facilitate user training sessions to ensure clients effectively adopt and utilize the software’s features.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience in software sales, customer onboarding, and support.
  • Hands-on experience in software implementation, preferably within the SaaS industry, with a focus on manufacturers and distributors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity with confidence.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing and distribution processes, including inventory management, supply chain operations, and production workflows.
  • Technical proficiency in software configuration, database management, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, CRM platforms, or related enterprise software is a plus.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus but not required.
