Solution ArchitectWe are seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Solution Architect within a complex enterprise environment.This role requires a professional with extensive experience across Microsoft enterprise ecosystems, Azure cloud platforms, Modern Workplace technologies, security frameworks, and networking. In addition, the position demands solid expertise in traditional on-premises datacenter technologies, including VMware, Veeam, and SAP-related infrastructure components.Technical ScopeDesign and implement scalable, secure infrastructure solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.Define and document end-to-end architecture, including detailed designs, standards, and implementation guidelines.Lead the design and deployment of Microsoft Azure environments, including hybrid integrations with on-prem VMware infrastructure.Drive infrastructure migration initiatives (cloud adoption, datacenter transitions, and workload modernisation).Oversee VMware vSphere environments, including lifecycle management, optimisation, and performance tuning.Architect backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam across on-prem, hybrid, and Azure workloads.Ensure seamless integration with existing systems, including SAP landscapes, databases, and third-party platforms.Design and maintain enterprise networking and security architectures, incorporating SD-WAN, SASE, Fortinet, and Zero Trust principles.Lead infrastructure modernisation efforts, including automation, Infrastructure as Code, and improved monitoring/observability.Provide technical leadership across projects, contributing to governance, change management (ITIL), and cross-team collaboration.Core Technical SkillsStrong background in Microsoft enterprise platforms and Azure cloud services.Advanced expertise in VMware vSphere and datacenter infrastructure design.Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, including disaster recovery and replication strategies.Understanding of SAP infrastructure dependencies, sizing, and operational considerations.Experience administering Windows, Linux, and Unix systems.Solid knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and technologies.Exposure to Fortinet security solutions.Familiarity with ITIL-based change management practices.Interest or experience in automation, Infrastructure as Code, SD-WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust architectures.
