This is a senior practice leadership role, operating with delegated authority from the Head of Professional Services to define delivery standards across all active engagements. Solutions Architects shape the technical approach, quality expectations, and delivery methodologies used by our teams.What We’re Looking ForThe Solutions Architect ensures consistent, high‑quality delivery of technical outcomes across the Professional Services function. This role holds technical authority for how engagements are handed over, mobilised, and delivered, enabling the business to forecast accurately, deliver reliably, and scale effectively as Xtravirt grows.Key Responsibilities1. Delivery Quality & GovernanceOwn the standards for customer deliverables, documentation, and technical outputs across all engagementsProvide quality oversight across active portfolios, identifying issues early and intervening proactivelyDefine and maintain delivery standards that clearly articulate “what good looks like”Partner with Delivery Managers and Architects to guide technical execution and delivery quality2. Oversight of High‑Complexity EngagementsServe as the senior technical authority and escalation point for the most complex and strategically significant engagements3. Portfolio OversightMaintain visibility across all active engagements, including status, risk, resourcing, and forecast alignmentIdentify and address risks early before they escalateProvide the Head of Professional Services with an accurate, real‑time view of outcome health4. Practice DevelopmentBuild and continuously refine the delivery methodology to support consistent, scalable project executionIdentify skills gaps within the team and recommend recruitment or development actionsSupport the progression of Senior Consultants toward Architect level by defining the delivery experience and capabilities required to lead engagements independentlyRequired Qualifications & ExperienceDeep technical expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation, NSX, and vSAN, with proven hands‑on delivery experienceDemonstrated ability to lead complex, end‑to‑end technical engagements with successful customer outcomesExperience defining, implementing, or evolving delivery methodologies within a Professional Services environmentAbility to lead through influence, operating confidently across teams without direct line management responsibilityStrong commercial awareness and understanding of how delivery quality and forecasting impact business performanceExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and review high‑quality client‑facing documentationDesirable ExperienceWe welcome candidates who actively contribute to the broader technology community—those who participate in VMUGs, engage with vendor ecosystems, or publish content such as blogs, articles, or technical insights.
