Northwest Partners is partnering with a premier client in the insurance and employee benefits industry to hire an experienced full-time DB & App Services Solutions Architect.

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure database and application solutions that align with business goals.
• Provide architecture guidance and strategic recommendations to optimize database performance and application integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create solution roadmaps, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Drive the adoption of modern technologies and methodologies, focusing on data-centric solutions.
• Lead and mentor technical teams through solution implementation, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex database and application issues to maintain system availability and integrity.

• 8+ years of experience in database and application architecture, with a focus on enterprise solutions.
• Deep expertise in SQL Server and Oracle database platforms, including performance optimization and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools such as Informatica, SSIS, or other data transformation solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud database solutions and architecture in AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments.
• Proficiency in application integration strategies, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar for reporting and analytics is a plus.
• Strong ability to create and implement comprehensive technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
