Title: Solutions Engineer Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: 18 months+ Compensation: $56/hr - $63/hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Job Description: The Solutions Engineer will contribute to projects related to adoption, usage, and issue management. This includes changes to customer issues, documentation, or technical projects with minimal mentoring. Work is assigned by a team leader and requires following established procedures to complete assignments. Work is subject to supervisory oversight at frequent intervals and review by senior members of the staff or peers. The individual will be responsible for reviewing, resolving and escalating complex business or customer issues or requests to / senior members of the team for resolution while also providing support to personnel across multiple business areas, tools, services and products. Someone who holds themselves and their teammates accountable in a professional, collaborative manner while also seeking to bring the best out in themselves and those around them. • Serve as a key touch point for stakeholders across multiple locations, business areas and teams. • Responsible for gathering requirements and working with subject matter experts and engineers to find solutions to specific requests. • Work closely with the internal tools development team on ensuring all internal foundational data processes and runbooks are fully and clearly documented • Communication of progress or solutions back to the customers. • Resolution of simple and moderately complex customer or product issues within area of knowledge without documentation. • Mentoring on complex customer or product issues within area of knowledge. • Providing operational guidance in the creation of simple tools, processes, and/or support documentation. • Participation in the development of large technical solutions that meet specifications and that impact future developments. • In depth understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how to apply this to the needs of the various business areas • A foundational understanding of best practices regarding Security and Compliance (PCI, SOX, general control frameworks) Basic Qualification: • 2 to 5 years of experience in customer relationship management, applications support, or development • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training or work experience • Moderate to extensive experience with Airtable and Data Visualization Tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI), Service Now. • Has a solid understanding of browsers, devices, OS, and other user agent interoperability and compatibility concerns. • Has an intermediate to advanced knowledge of / or engineering skills in the areas of Documentation, Modern Technical Concepts, Content Management, Metadata Management, Content Distribution, Web Development. • Has basic knowledge of/ skills in the area of Project Management, Agile/Scrum/Kanban Methodology, Engineering Practices, Relationship Management. • Shows technical aptitude for understanding SQL,HTML, CSS, JSON, XML Structures, Data Modeling. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical discipline • Experience working with vendor teams to deliver high quality results • Strongly passionate about the opportunity to work for The Company.
