Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland are looking for a Solutions Manager in our Residential sector to work across all brands helping to deliver our housing platform solutions to our customers across the Midlands regions.This isn’t a single-product sales role. It’s about unlocking the full Saint-Gobain offer — bringing together timber frame, SGES products, Isover, flooring, roofing and more — to deliver complete, performance-led building solutions.You’ll target housing associations, residential developers, main and regional contractors, and public sector projects including schools and retirement villages. The opportunity bank sits at £90m — and your job is to turn potential into delivered business.This role is covering the midlands region and would involve extensive travel across the region – as such candidates must possess a full UK driving license.What we’re looking for:Experience working with contractors (main or regional)Strong understanding of solutions sellingComfortable reading drawings and performance briefsExposure to design and estimating processesKnowledge of timber frame construction is highly desirableEnergetic, entrepreneurial mindset — someone who wants to build and grow What you’ll be doing:Leading a solutions-led approach across public sector projectsEngaging at design and pre-construction stageInterpreting performance briefs and technical drawingsUnderstanding how a house is built — particularly timber frameIdentifying pain points and designing integrated product solutionsWorking closely with estimating and design functionsPulling in the right internal resource to maximise opportunityThis role is about influence, technical credibility and commercial drive. You’ll need to understand the design and estimating process, junction detailing, and how specification decisions are made.
