Bold Gold Media Group is on the lookout for a talented and detail-oriented Sound Engineer to enhance our audio production capabilities. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for capturing, mixing, and editing audio for our diverse range of broadcasting content. You will work closely with producers, on-air talent, and other engineers to ensure the highest audio quality across our shows. Your expertise in sound design and audio technology will be crucial in creating captivating soundscapes that elevate our storytelling. We value creativity, technical skill, and a collaborative spirit, and we want you to bring your passion for audio excellence to our innovative group. Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate audio equipment for live broadcasts, pre-recorded segments, and events.
  • Record, mix, and edit audio tracks for radio broadcasts and podcasts.
  • Collaborate with producers and other team members to achieve desired audio quality and effects.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot audio equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement sound design techniques to enhance storytelling in broadcasting.
  • Monitor audio levels and make adjustments as necessary during production.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in audio technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sound engineering or similar roles.
  • Proficient in audio editing software and digital audio workstations (DAWs).
  • Strong understanding of sound design principles and audio mixing techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.
