Sourcing ManagerLocation: Glendale Heights, ILWe have partnered with a growing manufacturer and distributor of raw materials used in both consumer and industrial markets that is making a reputation for their operational focus, strong customer relationships, and commitment to reliable, high-quality supply.Growing 10%+ YoY, they are looking to further strengthen their global supply base and looking to add a hands-on Sourcing Manager. This role owns direct and indirect sourcing, with a strong focus on international suppliers and import execution into the U.S.You’ll work closely with supply chain, operations, finance, and overseas partners to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure uninterrupted material flow across raw materials, MRO, and supplies.Position Description:Lead sourcing across raw materials, MRO, and indirect spend categoriesDevelop and execute sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and supply continuityManage international suppliers and support compliant, cost-effective imports into the U.S.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships using performance metrics and scorecardsPartner with supply chain, operations, finance, logistics, and customs brokers to resolve issues and prevent disruptionsIdentify alternate sources and mitigate supply riskMaintain accurate supplier master data to support ERP, planning, and import complianceActively use ERP systems to support sourcing decisions and continuous improvementBackground Required:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience5+ years of sourcing experience (ideally pigments, chemicals, colorants, dyes, additives, etc.) with international supplier exposureExperience sourcing from regions such as India, China, South Korea or other global marketsWorking knowledge of import processes, customs clearance, and international freightERP experience and comfort managing transactional detailStrong negotiation, analytical, and communication skillsMiscellaneous:Compensation: $110 - $120K + bonus.Full benefit package including medical, dental and 401(k).
