Sous Chef Chico Hot Springs Apply
- Understands and upholds Chico's Mission, Employment Guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Understands and follows all management policies and promotes Chico culture.
- This person is responsible for upholding standards of preparation, training, quality and presentation in the AM and PM Kitchen.
- Plays an active role in the planning and implementation of menu items and daily specials, collaborating with Executive Chef, Food and Beverage Director and kitchen staff.
- Conveys matters of discipline and performance management to Department managers and Executive Chef.
- Works with Executive Chef, Executive Sous, AM Kitchen Manager and Gardener to ensure Chico garden produce is used and presented favorably.
- Ensures that standard recipes and presentations are being followed by all staff.
- Monitors job satisfaction and individual development of staff.
- Is responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of all food storage areas.
- Is responsible for upholding guidelines for self and staff in regards to dress code and personal hygiene.
- Is responsible for cleanliness, organization and security of all kitchen areas, including storage areas, and office.
- Performs food ordering and inventory duties as needed.
- Ensures all Food Safety and Sanitation standards are followed.
- Ensures all workplace safety standards and processes are followed.
