1. Overview
The South Indian Commi 3 is responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of South Indian dishes in a professional kitchen. The primary objective of this role is to ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established standards and meet the needs of customers.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of South Indian dishes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in the training and supervision of junior staff
- Help in recipe development
- Monitor food waste and report any concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned
3. Technical Skills
- Proficient in South Indian cooking techniques
- Knowledge of South Indian ingredients and spices
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Basic knife skills
4. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred
- Food Handler's Certificate
