Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5 years
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science.
Knowledge of RF theory as well as 5G and LTE/VoLTE technology.
Experience with major RAN equipment vendors (e.g., Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung).
Understanding of 5G and LTE network KPIs and key parameters.
Experience with network Design/Optimization.
Knowledge of various IB RF tools such as iBwave and Atoll.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, including VB macro creation and worksheet manipulation.
Programming back end and front end languages (Python/SQL/HTML/PHP/Java)
Knowledge of Linux server environments (shell script commands, crontab, etc.)
Ability to clearly communicate input/outputs of scripts to shareholders so that they can understand what they're getting and what difficulties there may be.
JOB DUTIES:
Our network engineering team keeps us ahead of the competition. As an SP Engineer, you'll be supporting some of the major tools and process that the RF and SP teams will utilize to improve network performance and customer experience. You'll play a key role in making sure our customers continue to enjoy the crystal-clear connections and top-notch call performance that we are known for.
Using knowledge of 5G, LTE, IP, and microwave to contribute to network design.
Maintain and Develop RF/SP Reporting tools and algorithms
Extract and manipulate data from multiple datasets to deliver reports, tools, and process improvements
Work with local RF and SP teams to develop tools and reports needed to efficiently diagnose and monitor the network.
Maintaining accuracy of the databases and tools to ensure proper reporting.
You will also have the opportunity for involvement in the system performance aspects of macro network engineering in a challenging RF environment and getting involved in all aspects of deployment and optimizations from the initial integration phase through the final testing and acceptance phase.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in RF design and optimization.
Experience in Programming

Key responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining RF and SP reporting tools and algorithms.
Extracting and manipulating data from multiple datasets.
Generating reports and dashboards for engineers.
Working with engineers to improve processes and reporting structures.
Maintaining reporting databases.
Requirements:
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, HTML, PHP, Java, and shell scripting.
Experience with Linux server environments.
Understanding of RF and system performance metrics and KPIs (preferred).
Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
Additional Notes:
This is a hybrid role with a strong emphasis on programming (85%).
While RF and SP knowledge is beneficial, it is not the primary focus of this role.
This is a support role, working alongside a full-time employee.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are mandatory in-office days.
