Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for an Onsite Early Childhood Teacher specializing in Special Education. This role is based in Wilmington, DE, within a school district setting, serving an early childhood caseload. The assignment begins on February 17, 2026, and runs through June 11, 2026.

Responsibilities include delivering specialized instruction tailored to young learners with diverse needs, collaborating with educational teams and families, and ensuring compliance with individualized education programs (IEPs). Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for managing caseloads and progress tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware teaching license required; candidates must submit their license and resume to be considered.
  • Dual licensure preferred: Special Education Teacher license and Early Childhood (EC) teaching license.
  • Candidates holding either license are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with early childhood populations in special education settings is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work onsite full-time, 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute paid lunch.
