Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as part of an Early Interventionist team for the upcoming school year. This contract-based role is ideal for a certified Special Education Teacher passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a lasting impact with children ages 3-4. The position is onsite and offers a consistent, family-friendly schedule—around 4 hours each day, 4 days a week, with one position available.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current Louisiana Special Education Early Intervention (Birth-5) Certificate required
  • Experience working with early intervention or pre-K children highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) for young learners
  • Excellent communication with students, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse developmental needs
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction to children ages 3-4 as part of the Early Interventionist team
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and service providers to develop and implement IEPs
  • Track progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families about student growth
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events as requested
  • Model best practices in special education and advocate for each child’s unique needs
  • Maintain a supportive and structured classroom environment
