Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education/EC Teacher position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Charlotte, NC 28208. This contract role involves working 35 hours per week over 5 days, providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina Special Education Teaching License
  • Experience working with students in grades K-12
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and school staff

Location: Charlotte, NC 28208

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to each students unique needs
  • Deliver specialized instruction that supports academic, behavioral, and social progress
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, school administrators, and families to foster an inclusive learning environment
  • Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of students with disabilities
