This position offers the chance to support a unique group of learners, utilizing your expertise and commitment to inclusive education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Colorado Special Education Teacher license (required)
  • Experience working with students in center-based special education programs preferred
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in individualized instruction and accommodations
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Skilled in developing and modifying IEPs in compliance with state standards
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, individualized instruction aligned with students’ IEPs
  • Assess, monitor, and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for each student
  • Create and implement engaging, differentiated lessons to promote student growth
  • Model and reinforce positive behavioral support strategies
