Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Colorado Special Education Teacher license (required)
- Experience working with students in center-based special education programs preferred
- Strong knowledge of best practices in individualized instruction and accommodations
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Skilled in developing and modifying IEPs in compliance with state standards
- Commitment to fostering a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, individualized instruction aligned with students’ IEPs
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for each student
- Create and implement engaging, differentiated lessons to promote student growth
- Model and reinforce positive behavioral support strategies
