Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Burbank, IL. This in-person role involves working with students in grades 2 through 5, providing tailored educational support and instruction to meet individual learning needs within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student success.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student performance and compliance with regulations.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social and academic growth.

Qualifications:

  • Valid LBS1 license required.
  • Experience working with special education students, preferably in grades 2-5.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning experience.

Location:

Hours:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
