Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available in multiple school locations within Grant County, Kentucky, offering an opportunity to support diverse learners in an educational setting. The role is onsite and requires a commitment of 35 hours per week from August 17th, 2026, through May 26th, 2027.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Kentucky Teaching Certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with students requiring special education services
  • Strong knowledge of individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education laws
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and educational staff
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instructional services tailored to the individual needs of students with disabilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Participate in meetings and professional development as required by the district

Location:
Positions are available at multiple schools across Grant County, KY, with assignments based on candidate location.
