Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available to support early childhood special education needs within Delaware County IU 25. This contract role requires commitment to a 37.5-hour workweek, serving two classroom settings: one at an early childhood education center in Aston and another at a campus in Folcroft, Pennsylvania.

Location:

  • Broomall, PA
  • Aston Early Childhood Education Center, Aston, PA
  • Folcroft Campus, Folcroft, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of young children with disabilities in early childhood classrooms.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) consistent with state guidelines and student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure comprehensive, inclusive education.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet developmental goals.
  • Maintain classroom management and documentation in compliance with educational standards and policies.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Special Education required.
  • Experience working with early childhood populations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
