Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Louisiana Special Education (Birth–5) Certificate
- Expertise or experience in early intervention for preschool-aged students
- Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and early childhood interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide activities and instruction tailored to developmental needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to children ages 3–4 with special needs
- Work collaboratively with Early Interventionist Team members, parents, and other support staff
- Develop and implement IEPs customized to each child’s abilities
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in consultation with families and team leaders
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes positive growth and engagement
- Guide families on strategies to support developmental milestones
- Maintain compliance with state and district policies for early childhood special education
Position Details:
- School-based contract, running approximately from August 3, 2026, to May 21, 2027 (dates may adjust slightly)
- Part-time schedule: about 4 hours per day, 4 days per week
- Onsite assignment with one position available
