Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Passionate about guiding students with unique learning needs toward success? Multiple full-time opportunities are available for experienced Special Education Teachers to make a meaningful difference in supportive educational settings. These contract roles are based onsite, working with dynamic student populations and dedicated instructional teams.

Positions begin as soon as possible and extend through June 5, 2026, offering a stable, impactful commitment. Openings span elementary and middle school levels, each with its own focus:

  • Two Elementary Developmental positions (supporting 15 students each, with 6 assistants, addressing behavioral, ASD, and communication needs)
  • Elementary Behavior (grades 3-5; 16 students, 5 assistants)
  • Middle School Resource (40 students, shared support from 2 assistants)
  • Elementary Resource (across two sites, each with 35 students and one assistant)
  • Middle School Behavior (15 students, 5 assistants)

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid Special Education certification/license in Oregon
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with support staff, and adapting instruction for diverse learners
  • Strong classroom and behavior management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to provide contact information for your most recent supervisor reference

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver instruction in accordance with each student's IEP
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, related service providers, and families
  • Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment that promotes student growth and safety
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies, progress monitoring, and data collection
  • Engage in school team meetings and professional development
