Multiple Intervention Specialists Special Education (K-12)
Location: Strongsville, OH
Contract Duration: ASAP through May 2026

Seeking dedicated Intervention Specialists for the 2025-2026 school year to support students across varied special education settings. This role involves working with diverse caseloads spanning Kindergarten through 12th grade, addressing mild to intense behavioral needs. Candidates will serve in self-contained classrooms, resource rooms, and inclusion environments, tailoring interventions to meet individual student requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with mild to intense behavioral challenges
  • Deliver specialized instruction within self-contained, resource, and inclusive classroom settings
  • Collaborate with general education staff, families, and support teams to promote positive student outcomes
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to enhance learning and behavior
  • Maintain compliance with all state and district special education regulations

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intensive)
  • Experience working with a range of behaviors, from mild to intense
  • Ability to manage varying caseloads across K-12 grades
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
