This full-time position is for an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher serving young learners aged 3 to 4 years old. The role involves itinerant travel between 3-4 school sites within the Benton, LA area, delivering specialized instruction in homeschool settings, daycares, or Head Start centers. The teacher will ensure full compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), lead mandated meetings, and perform consistent progress monitoring to support each student's unique educational goals.

Key responsibilities include implementing developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with state and local curricula, organizing mobile learning environments, and integrating technology to create engaging, supportive learning experiences. Maintaining accurate electronic records, submitting timely progress reports, and collaborating with parents and community partners are essential to fostering student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Early Childhood Special Education Teaching Certificate required
  • Experience providing specialized instruction to young children with special needs
  • Ability to manage itinerant caseload across multiple sites
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain records and compliance with IEP mandates
  • Excellent communication skills to partner effectively with families and community stakeholders

Location:Benton, Louisiana (onsite, with travel between 3-4 school sites)
