Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Kingston, NH, supporting students in grades K through 9 at a Seacoast Charter Academy. This role focuses on providing specialized instruction and case management services within a small group setting, covering reading, writing, and math.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 12-14 students requiring individualized support
  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students' unique learning needs in reading, writing, and math
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student progress and case management
  • Participate in meetings and coordinate communication among teachers, parents, and service providers
  • Provide onsite support during regular school hours, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Experience with case management and working with K-9 students
  • Strong knowledge of reading, writing, and math interventions for small groups
  • Ability to work onsite full-time, 35 hours per week
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
