Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized instruction as an itinerant Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for 3-4 year old students across multiple school sites, including homeschools, daycares, and Head Start centers. This full-time role involves traveling between 3-4 locations to deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with state and local curricula, ensuring diverse learner needs are met through effective instructional strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to young learners within their home environments or community settings.
  • Lead IEP meetings following the special education calendar to ensure full compliance.
  • Conduct rigorous progress monitoring and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Develop and implement mobile learning environments utilizing technology to engage students.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, community partners, and educators to support student success.
  • Submit timely progress reports reflecting student development and goal achievement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Early Childhood Special Education Teaching Certification is required.
  • Experience working with early childhood special education students, preferably ages 3-4.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage itinerant caseload across multiple sites.
  • Ability to use technology effectively in instruction and record-keeping.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with families and community resources.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position based in Benton, LA.
  • Full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week.
  • Onsite role requiring travel to multiple school or community sites within the area.
